Use my Voice through Art

I have spent the last year working on a series of images about motherhood and womanhood. This project largely draws on my own struggles of being a woman and a mother. Often, I feel like I am the only one who is having a rough time. But that’s not true. Silently suffering, putting on a brave face, and not talking about the issues that affect us, women and mothers, won’t bring a change. We must continuously advocate for our future and our daughters’ future. I decided that I will be brave and use my voice through art to speak up on behalf of women and mothers, and hopefully, make another person feel like they are not alone on this journey.

I am honored that some of the images from this series will be displayed in the galleries in California and Massachusetts this Spring 2024.
